I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was perfect as it was right on the beach, making it easy to go back and forth between the hotel and the ocean. Additionally, the breakfast they provided was delicious and had a great variety of options. The staff were also incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Everything was spot on.

Very friendly and kind staff, close to a very nice beach with the hotel's free umbrella sets. Very nice pool as an alternative to the beach. Rich breakfast. Overall a comfortable stay.
For those who need internet, there is no connection in the upper rooms. One should visit the area close to the reception. Although the place, sarmisakli, is a nice place on its own to stay for ones vacation, it is almost 15 min far from ayvalik with the bus (5 liras back and forth).

The hotel is situated in a good location, just a short walk away from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast provided was delicious with a variety of choices, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. the hotel provided free Wi-Fi, which was a great advantage for us to share our Christmas vacation with our family and loved ones.
The hotel lacked some basic necessities, such as a hairdryer and a kettle in the room. We had to pay extra for these facilities, which was a bit of a letdown.

We were looking for a room in Ayvalik and found the Hotel Billurcu on Booked.net. The map was kind of misleading, as this hotel is in a suburb of Ayvalik and not near the city proper. However... It turns out that Ayvalik is a large mess of a city and we were glad we didn't stay there. The Hotel Billurcu is a great place to stay--terrific staff, nice pool, great location to the beach, nice breakfast. There is an internet cafe and market very nearby also. We would highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a nice beach getaway. (Stay out of Ayvalik and go to Cunda Island at night instead!)
